Goodbye, DC. Goodbye, youth.

From June 14, 2013 to December 20, 2023, thank you DC for being with us for 3,841 days and nights.

During these 10 years, there have been joys, disappointments and regrets, but in retrospect, the joys are greater than the regrets, which may be called "pain and pleasure".

After his last unsuccessful attempt to defeat the Sea King (Jason Momoa), Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is still not willing to give up on avenging his father's death and vows to destroy him. This time, he finds the legendary Trident of Darkness, unleashing ancient forces of evil that come back stronger than ever. To fight it, the Sea King turns to his imprisoned brother Orm (and former King of Atlantis, Patrick Wilson) for help, forming an unexpected alliance. The two must put aside their old grudges and join forces in order to defend the kingdom, save their families, and save the world from the impending disaster.

There will definitely be new DC movies in the future that surpass the quality of the DCU, but the casting is hardly going to surpass the DCU anymore, in my mind Henry is Superman, Big Ben is Batman, Gal Gadot is Wonder Woman, Jason is King of the Seas, and so on.

Even though he wasn't perfect, he was our youth.

Today, however, my youth is officially over.
